Turkish cosmetic industry is attending to Cosmoprof Bologna 2010 which is considered as the world's most important cosmetic and personal care products fair.
Turkish cosmetic industry is attending to Cosmoprof Bologna 2010 which is considered as the world's most important cosmetic and personal care products fair. Istanbul Chemicals and Chemical Products Exporters' Association of Istanbul will organize a national paticipation to the fair with its 30 member companies at the 30th hall. The fair which is considered as a major market for Turkish exporters and thought to provide a significant contribution to the development of the relations with the European Union will take place in 16th - 19th April in Bologna, Italy.
Last year, 139.523 foreign visitors visited the exhibition in which 2243 companies from 60 countries took place. Also, this fair was visited by totally 139.523 visitors of which 106.185 is foreigners. This year even greater interest is expected.
29 firms under Turkish Pavilion in 576 mē will exhibit deodorant, perfume, baby wipes, soaps, color cosmetics products, personal care products and cosmetics packaging. Also apart from 576 sqm area, there will be a trend area of 192 mē , a meeting room to do new business connections will be made, Turkish hamam concept will be designed to establish our old traditions , to promote the Turkish culture and history to visitors. This fair is important both for promoting the Turkish culture and in terms of establishing trade relations.
The Turkish cosmetic sector which reaches the world standards production quality increase its capacity of the growing rate every day. In addition to creating its own brand in the world brand manufacturing companies, the Turkish cosmetic industry exports to our neighbours especially to Russia, Iraq, Ukraine, Iran, Bulgaria, Romania, Northern Cyprus, Turkish Republic of Algeria, Azerbaijan, and Libya. In cosmetics industry over 1300 companies operate. The sector creates employment to 13-14 thousand people.
