Rebul Pharmacy was founded in Istanbul, Beyoglu with the name “Grande Pharmacie Parisienne- Grand Paris Pharmacy” in 1895 by Jean Cesar Reboul. The historic place that has witnessed the late period of the Ottoman Empire is the only pharmacy still open in its original address, today.

Kemal Müderrisoğlu, one of the first pharmacists in the history of the Republic of Turkey started working for Monsieur Reboul in 1920 as an intern at his second year in college. Showing remarkable and exemplary accomplishments together, Müderrisoğlu and Monsieur Reboul’s relationship continued for many years, like father and son.

In 1938, the Turkish people were introduced to Lavender Cologne for the first time. In the beginning, the lavender cologne was made of pure lavender oils distilled and released from lavender flowers growing in Mr. Reboul’s own garden. Later, lavenders from Southern France started being used. Each year lavender flowers are picked from the Grasse (Southern France) before sunrise and they are distilled, releasing the very pure lavender oil which make our lavender colognes, today.

In the year 1939, Monsieur Reboul went back to his homeland leaving his pharmacy, the apple of his eye, to young and hardworking Kemal Müderrisoğlu who was his only living next of kin, at the time. The pharmacy’s name then changed to Rebul. Rebul Lavender Cologne, REBUL LAVANDA soon became the cologne of Istanbul’s gentlemen and especially Pera’s men. In time, REBUL LAVANDA became much more than just a cologne. It became a unique legacy passed on from fathers to sons. It became a popular men’s perfume, a miraculous hair product used by barbers to relieve their customers of stress and a prestigious gift.

HEADQUARTER & FACTORY

Rebul Cosmetics is currently manufacturing cologne, perfume and related products of health and beauty with an experienced staff in the factory opened in December 2006, boasting a 3.000 square meter indoor and 3.500 square meter outdoor production facility.

Our headquarter is located at Reşitpaşa, Emirgan.
Our factory and warehouse is located in İstanbul, Gaziosmanpaşa.

The R&D department at Rebul Cosmetics, under constant training to remain at the leading edge of technology, has all the possibilities of carrying out all the necessary experiments in their related fields.

An infrastructure conducive to manufacturing of different products on eight separate lines, packaging, performing a detailed quality control, and storing of these products has been organized within our facility.
After these processes, we achieve 20 million final products per year.

A Plant Manager, Production and R&D Chemical Engineer, a Purchasing Clerk, Raw Material and Packaging Material Clerk, Raw Material and Packaging Material Store Clerk, and Logistics Supervisor are also employed at the factory.

LOCAL SALES

Rebul Cosmetics has a broad distribution all over in Turkey,
in 14 different areas in Turkey 18 sales person, 10 merchandisers and 10 beauty advisors are employed as a sales force.

The distribution is made over in independent local cosmetic shops, chain cosmetic shops, local supermarkets, chain supermarkets, pharmacies, drugstores, chain perfumeries, department stores, national supermarkets. Some of our chain stores are Migros, Metro, Watsons, Gratis, Rossman. Rebul products are sold in more than 1000 stores except these chain stores.

Sales team of Rebul Cosmetics is managing the distribution of Rebul Eau de Cologne, Rebul men, Ranger, Rebul for’men, Colors, Angie, Angie Hot and Angie Body Splash brands. Our sales force also started to distribute Eros, Vepa and Goodskin brands all around Turkey.

Rebul Cosmetics is always evaluating the new oppurtinites and is open to the innovation.

EXPORT SALES
After the new investment in the factory, Rebul has just began to improve in export sales. Now distributing in more than 39 countries under our own brands as well as Private Label. Rebul support its clients with various marketing activities and participates actively at international cosmetics exhibitions.

Starting from year 2011, %20 of export is private label products that are produced for international clients like H&M .

CORPORATE SALES
Rebul provides special size products to clients in HORECA category and promotional products to companies.
In this category, Rebul has a wide product range includes shampoo, hair conditioner, liquid soap, soap, shower gel, body lotion, hand cream, bath foam, roam spray, candle, reed diffuser, eau de cologne and refreshing towel.
