2017 has been a very busy year for us. We spend our days working hard, being productive and always tr ying to improve ourselves and one of the most important items in our agenda was the more than 700 bilateral meetings we held with 40 buyers from 24 countries at the COSMEET Cosmetics and House Cleaning and Care Products Procurement Committee. Organized at The Grand Tarabya Hotel between November 22 and 25, 2017, the twoday event can be considered as a first in Turkey in terms of networking scope and impact. A few days later, 25 companies representing our Cosmetics and House Cleaning and Care Products sector par took in the House and Kitchen Appliances, Packaging, Cosmetics, Cleaning Industry Procurement Committee of Russia which was held between November 30 and December 1, 2017. There we had 750 bilateral meetings with 23 buyers from Russia.

Highlighted in our 2018 agenda will be the national par ticipation at the Cosmoprof Bologna international beauty fair which will be organized between March 15 and 18, at Bologna/Italy. 2018 will see the 52nd edition of the fair and Turkey’s 11th national participation. O ur cosmetics companies will have the opportunity to promote their wide product ranges varying from makeup and cosmetics to personal care products.

We are welcoming the new year with exciting and productive projects and we carry our enthusiasm to the pages of this issue along with interesting topics we gathered from the world of beauty.

We hope 2018 will be a happier, peaceful and productive year for all of us.
